With more than 40 years of industry experience and multiple successful start-up businesses, Loddie Naymola leads 4-Horn Investments with a flair for innovation, creative problem-solving and measured risk-taking to drive consistent improvements and returns.

Loddie began his career on a determined path for success. Having earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance & Economics, he entered employment with TRECO, a pump and compressor distributor and rental company, working in outside sales and management. Loddie left to establish Service Pump & Compressor in Beaumont, TX in 1984 and, over the next 15 years, built the company to 15 branches and $30M in revenue. He sold the business to Hertz Equipment in 1999.

In 2000, Loddie became CEO of Pioneer Pump in Portland, Oregon, which he founded two years earlier and sold the business to Franklin Industries in 2012. After leaving Pioneer Pump, Loddie was active in real estate development and purchased and sold several banking institutions. He currently owns National Pump & Energy, the largest pump rental company in Australia, and Spectre Air Capital, an aircraft leasing company.

In late 2004, Loddie founded Gulf Star Rental Solutions, a power generation and HVAC rental company.  During this time, Loddie also founded several other rental and fabrication companies leading to the founding of National Pump & Compressor in 2007. Over the next 7 years, Loddie and his team built these companies to include over 40 locations in North America with $250M in revenue and 500 employees. In April 2014, Loddie sold four of the equipment companies to United Rentals and the compressor division was sold to Atlas Copco for a total of $938M.

In 2015, Loddie and his partners founded 4-Horn Investments, a private investment firm, which specializes in the equipment rental industry. Loddie is active in philanthropy and supports various universities and medical research along with other charitable organizations through his Naymola Foundation.

Austin University, Loddie entered employment with TRECO, a pump and compressor distributor and rental company, working in outside sales and management. RHETT LASSERRE

CO-FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

Rhett joined the 4-Horn Investments team with over 20 years of industry experience and 10 years of leadership experience. He has a passion for startup rental businesses and is a founding partner of National Pump & Compressor as well as National Fittings & Hose. Rhett helped established 4-Horn Investments in 2016 and serves as President. Shortly after establishing 4-Horn Investments, Rhett led the formation of National Tank & Equipment and National Flare & Equipment.

  • Graduated from McNeese State University in 1996 with a degree in Kinesiology
  • Worked for Service Pump & Compressor from 1997-2007, becoming a Regional Manager
  • Served as Vice President Gulf Coast for National Pump & Compressor from 2007 until it sold to United Rentals in 2014
  • Served as Regional Product Development Manager- Fluid Solutions for United Rentals from 2014-2015
  • Enjoys nurturing and coaching young talent as he’s worked his way from a sales rep to being responsible for the strategic direction of various companies
  • His free time hobbies include fishing, hunting, traveling

MICHAEL NIX

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, SALES

Mike brings hard work and over 15 years of revenue-producing sales experience to 4-Horn Investments. As a high-level college athlete, he found the competitive aspect of sales to be the perfect blend of his talents. He joined National Pump & Compressor in 2007, quickly worked his way from Outside Sales Rep to VP of Oilfield Stores where he was responsible for sales of $120M per year. He became Executive Vice President of Sales for 4-Horn in 2016 after working for United Rentals.

  • Started in 2003 with Service Pump & Compressor as a Rental Coordinator, quickly promoted to Branch Manager
  • Worked as an Outside Sales Rep for Red River Pump from 2006 – 2007
  • Joined National Pump & Compressor in 2007 as Outside Sales before becoming Regional Manager then VP of Oilfield Stores
  • After the sale of National Pump & Compressor, Mike joined United Rentals from 2014-2016 until 4-Horn Investments was founded in 2016
  • Being an avid outdoorsman he loves travel, baseball, coaching, being on the lake and hunting
  • Works closely with co-workers to make business decisions quickly and effectively to drive revenue and ensure customers have the equipment they need

JASON JUDSON

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Jason brings extensive experience in leading corporate governance, financial planning, and in developing key metrics, reporting and variance analysis to the 4-Horn Investments management team. Before joining 4-Horn in 2015, Jason held various positions of increasing responsibility for BG Group’s L48 division, ultimately fulfilling the Controller role for them. He also served as a manager for Ernst & Young, where he focused on the energy market. He obtained his CPA shortly after starting his career there. Jason received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting from Texas State University.
